SAFETY
Residence halls at colleges and universities are regulated environments, and the Campus Canopies product was designed with safety as the top priority. All of our curtain panels are manufactured to meet the FR-701 fire retardant fabric standard. The top of the structure is open and is compliant with sidewall and overhead sprinkler fire safety standards. The curtain panels can be purchased separately, but for safety reasons we do not sell the canopy structure separately. In other words, this is not a DIY (“Do It Yourself”) product for buyers to add their own curtains. The structure is sturdy enough to support the curtain panels as well as personal items like clothing on a hangar, but it does not support the weight of a person.
