Q: Does Campus Canopies fit around a twin XL bed?
A: Yes. Most college beds are twin XL, and Campus Canopies are designed for this size.
Q: Does Campus Canopies work with lofted beds?
A: Yes. Campus Canopies works with all lofted bed configurations.
Q: Do you make Campus Canopies for full or queen-size beds?
A: We do not currently offer Campus Canopies for full or queen-size beds. Please let us know if you would like this option. We can provide it with sufficient demand.
Q: Can I use the Campus Canopies structure with my own curtains?
A: No. Campus Canopies curtains are made with fire-resistant fabric and sold in accordance with National Fire Safety Association standards (FR- 701). We do not sell Campus Canopies without our panels.
Q: Is Campus Canopies easy to set up?
A: Yes. Campus Canopies does not require special tools and take no more than 15 minutes to assemble. Please follow the instructions and watch the set-up video on our website.
Q: How many people are needed to set up a Campus Canopies
A: Campus Canopies only require one person for assembly. However, It can be fun if you do it with a friend or family member.
Q: Is Campus Canopies approved by colleges and universities?
A: Yes. Please refer Residential Life at your institution to our website if they have any questions.
Q: Can you wash the fabric panels?
A: Yes. Follow the instructions on our panels.
Q: Are Campus Canopies panels black out?
A: The panels are opaque and help to block sunlight and the glare of lamps or laptops.
Q: Why is there no top on the Campus Canopies structure?
A: In order to be compliant with sidewall and overhead sprinkler systems in college dorm rooms, Campus Canopies does not have top panels.
Q: How much weight can the poles support?
A: The Campus Canopies’ structure can support hangers and light clothing. We do not recommend using it for chin-ups!
Q: What is the best way to store the Campus Canopies at the end of the school year?
A: Your Campus Canopies should be wrapped in the provided velcro straps tightly and stored in our specially manufactured gingham bags.
Q: Why do we require you to list your College or University?
A: We partner with several Colleges and a percentage of every sale goes toward a student activity fund. So please list your institution.
